Venue: An ex-farm stone building on one level, opposite Oxgangs Primary School, this Centre offers easy access throughout for all users and has on street parking. An attractive, bright and well-kept facility, Colinton Mains Centre hosts a range of classes and groups, which are provided by Voluntary, Charitable and Private Organisations whilst also offering long term and one-off Let opportunities.

Art & Design Summer Classes (2017): Marlene Douglas, BA (Hons), in addition to her usual Thursday art classes in the Centre, will run Art & Design classes during the school holidays, with no need to book - just drop in: 

When: Each Friday, 7th July to 9th August, 10am to 4 pm.

Who For: Adults 16+, ideal for leisure, or for students producing work for their portfolios.  Bring your own sketchbook.

Cost: Only £5 for full day (bring your own lunch and snacks); £3 per day.

Booking a Let: If your enquiry is related to hiring a space within the Centre, be it for the purpose of a long term Let; to host a meeting/event or hold a Birthday Party/Baby Shower, we are happy to consider all bookings. Prices are variable dependant on the nature of the Let and/or the status of your group. As noted above, please drop into the Centre or direct your enquiry in the first instance to Sue Christie on 0131 441 6597/7318.

For Your Information: Please be assured we will always endeavour to return your call and answer your enquiry as soon as we can. The Centre is however unstaffed and run entirely by volunteers and so an immediate response is not always possible. We appreciate your patience in this regard.
